On fall 2010 I moved to Rochester Institute of Technology to start the Ph.D. in Color Science in the Munsell Color Science Laboratory. Before that, I spent several years working as research assistant at the University of Girona, under the supervision of Dr. Xavier Pueyo and Dr. Carles Bosch . Also, in fall 2009 I spent a quarter with Dr. Sumanta Pattanaik at the University of Central Florida, as a visiting researcher.
I am currently working under the supervision of Dr. James Ferwerda as a Research Assistant developing new techniques for material appearance capture.

Research interests

I am mostly interested in material appearance, BRDF representation, and real-time rendering. I had been working for a while on the BRDFLab, a tool to design, fit, and render BRDFs.
